Winter Squash Harvest

As the weather cools down and the summer squash is lost to frost, its time for the winter squash season. Grocers and markets have started stocking these newly harvested seasonal delights. Aside from pumpkins, both cooking and decorative, there is an alphabet of winter squash varieties available, including acorn , butternut, buttercup, carnival, delicata, hubbard, spaghetti, turban and more. 

The types of winter squash include the following:

3. Red Kabocha
4. Sweet Dumpling
5. Spaghetti
6. Blue Hubbard
7. Sugar Pumpkin
8. Delicata
9. Red Kuri

11. Acorn
